How to check the Jazz SIMs on your CNIC

There is no separate Jazz check. PTA's SIM check covers every network at once, and the result lists SIMs operator by operator.

  1. Open cnic.sims.pk, or start a new SMS.
  2. Enter your 13-digit CNIC number without dashes. On SMS, send it to 668.
  3. Find Jazz in the result. The figure beside it is the number of Jazz SIMs registered in your name.

The portal is free and the SMS costs about Rs 2 plus tax. The full walkthrough is in how to check the SIMs on your CNIC.

Operators change codes from time to time. All networks are listed on the network codes page.

Jazz, Mobilink and Warid

Jazz was formerly known as Mobilink. Warid later merged into it, and Warid's codes came with it. That is why a number starting 0320 to 0329 is a Jazz number today, even though many people still think of it as Warid.

If you have an old Warid SIM, it appears under Jazz when you check your CNIC.

Found a Jazz SIM that isn't yours?

  1. Take a screenshot of the result with the date showing.
  2. Call the Jazz helpline on 111. Say a SIM is registered on your CNIC without your permission and ask for a complaint number.
  3. Visit a Jazz franchise or customer service centre with your original CNIC and ask for the SIM to be blocked and disowned.
  4. If that doesn't solve it, complain to PTA on 0800-55055.

Fees, the one-year rule and SIM transfer are covered in how to block or disown a SIM.

Can you find the owner of a Jazz number?

No. Neither Jazz nor PTA gives out the name, CNIC or address behind a number, and no website has lawful access to that record. Jazz staff will only discuss a SIM with its registered owner.

What you can do with an unknown Jazz number is explained in SIM owner details by number.
